I’m Miss Mia, founder and CEO of Miss Mia’s Kitchen. Miss Mia’s Kitchen was founded in a tiny dorm room mid-2017 while I was in my second year of university. With a baking kit for approximately $10, a tiny microwave oven and a desire to start being more productive by spending less time on social media, I started baking during the winter of 2017. I immediately fell in love with the wonderful art of cake and confectionary decorating. With a few videos and some practice, I quickly developed the skill. Miss Mia’s Kitchen was established after my amazing friends encouraged me to take baking seriously and start supplying cakes to my fellow students (shout out to my squad, Lol).

After over a year of baking and supplying confectionaries to my fellow students and foreigners in Wuhan China, I had the idea of founding my own sprinkles line. This was after visiting Zambia during my summer vacation and realizing the unavailability of a variety of cake decorating supplies. Thus, because of my love for sprinkles and all things pretty, Miss Mia’s Kitchen was officially launched on the 15th of January 2019.

From making and mixing sprinkles, the brand has since evolved to having luster dust, metallic leaf and a few other products.
